Relentless reality throw at him everything it's got, from encounters with amateur bandits and a conniving monk, to getting into the deep end of legalised piracy on the high seas. Worst of all, he has to deal with the belated realisation that the arranged marriage he ran from was to the perfect girl for him. Well, almost perfect.

Her very jealous and very well-armed boyfriend is hot on his trail, presumably to have a sharp word or two with him.

It's rather a lot on his flat plate.
